The #1 teak oil:
The #1 teak oil is used to maintain the beauty oft the wood as needed. First remove spear shaft and power bands. Use a cloth to apply oil. Apply a coat to entire surface of stock. Let stand for 15 minutes.
With a dry, clean soft cloth rub vigorously to bring a luster to your stock. If the wood is damaged you may need to use sandpaper to smooth finish.
The #2 Teak oil:
The #2 teak oil is a penetrating oil that hardens in 24-hours. This oil is used for refinishing the stock. Dismantling of speargun may be necessary. On any damaged area, use 80-grit sandpaper. Finish sanding with 240-grit sandpaper. Apply a thin coat of oil with dry, clean soft cloth to entire surface of stock.
Hang stock for 24-hours or until dry. You may need to remove wet drips after application. When dry, sand wet with 240-grit sandpaper. You may use #2 oil as a sanding aid. Let dry 24-hours or until dry.
For final finish lightly sand with the 600-grit sandpaper and apply a thin coat of #1 oil to entire surface of stock. Let stand for 15 minutes. With a dry, clean soft cloth rub vigorously to bring a luster to your stock.
