You should go with the medium, it would be better if you get a size or 2 bigger.

Will these be okay for felt bottom boots?

It would be great if you got a size fin thats at least a size or two bigger.

The overall length is 34 inches and 8 1/2 inches blade width for XXS through XXL.

Are the fins stiff

They are a bit stiff but when time passes it gets a bit soft.

I wear a size 9 1/2 -10. Should I get a size 8-9 or 10-11?

I recommend getting a size 10-11 because if you were to use fin socks or boots they would fit and not be tight.

Do I need socks with this?

You don't have to use socks but it would be more comfortable and prevent you from getting blisters.

Wondered if these run true to size. I've got a 10 wide foot, but used a gara3000ld in size 8-9 because they run big. How do these fit?

We got them from XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. A large would be great for you, if you were to use fin socks, it wouldn't be too tight or too loose.

Was this design for fin socks, because i realise it fits big? The medium is much bigger than the average mediums i know

It is a bit bigger than other fins that are medium in size, but yes because using fin socks could prevent you from getting blisters from the stiff foot pockets.

I recommend getting a large because these foot pockets a quite big for the average 10-11 size. So if you were to use socks, it would fit great and will not be to tight or loose.

I recommend getting a medium because the foot pocket on these fins are quite a big bigger than the average 8-9. So when you use your 3mm fin socks, it wouldn't be too loose or too tight. It will fit just fine.

I would say a small size would be great because the 6-7 size on these fins are quite bigger than the average 6-7 size on any other fins.
