This is a new, highly technological, Cressi snorkel that has been designed specifically for deep fishing and free diving.
The tube of the Corsica is characterised by the use of a new concept of special polymers that have excellent shape memory thus allowing the snorkel to bend against objects and then spring back into its original position.
The mouthpiece in hypoallergenic silicone has been designed with a special anatomical shape that minimises any feeling of discomfort, even after prolonged use.

What is the snorkel made out of?

Is this suitable for pool training, vs a more traditional j-style like the deep see funstream snorkel?

It can be used for pool training, but not recommended. The “J” snorkel has a lot a drag off the side of the head and no purge valve. This type of snorkel is used mainly for Freediving and spearfishing.
Is there a size difference between the hunter and original?

If you are talking about the color variant then no there is no size difference. The hunter just adds the camo onto the snorkel.
