  • The Cressi Gara Carbon HF refers to a high-power carbon fiber freediving and spearfishing fin blade, designed for strong, powerful athletes and challenging conditions, particularly deep diving or strong currents. It is part of the Cressi Gara Modular system, allowing the blade to be interchanged with different foot pockets and stiffness levels. 

    Product Details and Features
    The Cressi Gara Carbon HF (High Flexibility, or High Power in some contexts) blade is engineered for efficient energy transfer and performance. 
    • Construction: The blade is made of exclusive, ultra-high performance 12,000 thread count (12k) carbon fiber from Mitsubishi, Japan, which provides exceptional strength and flexibility. It is manufactured using a 100% high-vacuum industrial process to eliminate microbubbles and ensure compactness.
    • Stiffness: The HF version is the most rigid of the available stiffness levels (XLD, LD, MD, HF, XHF) and is ideal for powerful users or those in strong currents and deep waters. According to Cressi, it requires about 1,842 kg of load to be folded to the limit.
    • Design:
      • Angulation: The blade has a progressive 29° angle between the foot pocket and the blade, which helps align the fin with the tibia to reduce muscle fatigue and increase comfort during finning.
      • Water Rails: It features one-piece TPU profiles (rails) along the sides to channel water flow and prevent lateral slipping, increasing efficiency.
      • Modular System: The blade is designed to be compatible with both the Gara Modular and Gara Turbo foot pockets, allowing users to customize their setup.
