- "The SL4 has been the gold standard for small utilitarian dive lights for decades. Owning a SL4 is owning a piece of diving history. It is compact enough to slide comfortably into a BC pocket and has a bright center spot to light up dark spaces under any type of diving condition. Now, UK is introducing the updated and enhanced Mark 2 version of the SL4. For the first time, we are using a digital controller to take maximum advantage of all four C-size batteries. The SL4 Mark 2 boasts an eye-watering 600 lumens of brightness, while retaining all the great qualities that made it the most popular dive light in history."
- Machined reflector yields a bright center spot, which gives the light the ability to penetrate the darkest ledges or murkiest water
- All polymer construction makes it impervious to seawater, the enemy of steel and aluminum alike
- Single handed switching with thumb or index finger
- LED will not break when dropped and lasts thousands of hours
- Equally great performance in and out of water for home or work

This flashlight has sold me on LED technology. I used it for a week of diving on a liveaboard and it's still running as brightly as when I first plugged in the batteries... and I even accidentally left it on for two hours! I also bought the larger C8 eLED light to use as my primary night dive light, but honestly it's not much brighter than the SL4 eLED.

I had my doubts. But it got so many positive reviews, I gave it a try. There are bigger and better lights out there that have better range, but this light is small, bright and most importantly - I can hold it in my mouth when Iʻm working underwater. Thatʻs a major plus. My other lights hindered my dives because one hand is always useless. Hard to tickle an octopus when you only have one free hand. For the price, you canʻt beat it.

Great light great price. I took it on 8 straight dives in 3 days used the same batteries the entire time. It takes 4 C batteries and is heavier than it looks but is easy to use under water. I spent more time looking under coral.

Great dive light for poking around in the nooks and crannies. It doesn't replace a light cannon, but it fits the hand and BC pocket better than a cannon can. Excellent primary for daytime reef dives, good secondary for night dives (or just making spooky diver face underwater).

bought this light and a few others at the same time. I originally did not like the form factor of this light because it is oval and did not tuck in as neatly on my harness as the smaller round lights I purchased. However, I really like the switch in place of a screw down cap to turn the light on and off. Also, after several uses, this light is appreciably brighter than the others I purchased. Therefore, over the course of a few months, this has became my primary open water light.

This is a good dive light as a primary for small rec diving, or a backup for more serious diving such as cave diving. I wouldn't use it as a primary for cave diving.
The beam is pretty focused and it's a good bit of light. The battery life is very good.
So far I can't complain. It's been on about 10 dives with me so far.

Bright and awesome, I bought this for diving, which it works well for. It's a quality flash light, and super bright underwater. Like many have said, it's meant to be a secondary light, but you could use it as a primary in some situations. I also like that it takes C batteries, which it lasts a while on. I'm not a fan of the rechargeable diving flash lights, Would rather throw some new batteries in real fast and be on my way.
Had the opportunity to use this at a public pool at night with zero lights on in or around the pool. For whatever reason, the lights weren't coming on, but people were still swimming in the dark because it was fun. That was until I dove in and turned it on when I was at the bottom of the pool. It pierced threw... More

I had the older version of this light and it lasted for over 6 years of heavy use. I am a commercial diver and need a very durable light and this was it. I bought this newer version and within 2 months started flickering and is now to the point I cant even depend on it for a dive after 3 months. Very dissapointed and looking for an alternative

Amazing brightness, but floods. Floods everytime and I have to take it apart, rinse it with clean water and let it air dry. When I turn it off, it slightly stays on and lit because of water damage but eventually turns off or I take the batteries out.

The light was not as bright as I expected. I used this and UK SL3 eLED at literally the same time at day and night. The SL3's more focused beam worked better in day and night to get a good luck in nooks in coral. I DID very much like the on/off switch and the wrist strap. Simply disappointed that it was not as bright as I expected.

I purchased this for my diving trip to Bonaire. A friend had one and highly recommended it. So I purchased it and was really glad I did. I used it in Bonaire and it has a powerful beam not terribly wide but certainly when I was focusing on one point it was great.
I would recommend this to people. It is also good on day dives when you want to look into crevices or coral.

Bright light - easy to use! Attached easily to my BCD and was super bright during my night dives. Lightweight and powerful!
